Meet the Team

We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to you getting to know ours.

My name is Donna and I have worked in orthodontics since 1978. I joined this wonderful practice in 1982. I am proud of my wonderful office family, getting to know our patients, and sharing in their lives. I really love treating the children of our former patients except that it makes me feel old!

I was born and raised in Cary and now live in downtown Apex. I love all water sports and D.I.Y. projects. I’ve been married 38 years and we have been blessed with two amazing daughters and three adorable grandchildren. I love being Godmother to Dr. Brogden’s three precious children, as well.

My name is Hayley and I have been an orthodontic assistant since 2014. Ortho has always been my passion and focus in college. Luckily, I have been blessed with a wonderful boss and coworkers. I love watching my patients' smiles transform but I also love watching my patients grow as individuals over their treatment time.

I love spending my free time with my amazing husband and our sweet puppy, Shepherd. I also enjoy spending lots of time outside hiking and being surrounded by nature!

My name is Heather and I've worked in the dental field since 2008. After becoming a certified and registered dental assistant I quickly found my calling in orthodontics. I absolutely love building relationships with my patients and being a part of their smile transformations.

I grew up in New Jersey then moved to Washington, DC before calling North Carolina my home. I married my best friend in 2010 and now we have an awesome daughter and an American Bulldog (my other child). My other loves in life include the beach, traveling, hockey, and nail polish.

My name is Kelli and I’m an Orthodontic Assistant. I’ve worked in the dental field since 2017. I am originally from Mount Airy, a small town in the foothills of North Carolina, but moved to Raleigh in the summer of 2015 to further my education.

I'm excited to be a part of the clinical team learning under Dr. Brogden! When I’m not transforming smiles, I enjoy going on walks and watching movies with my boyfriend, Henry, and our spoiled rotten puppy, Rylee.

My name is Olivia, but my friends call me Oly. I have been an orthodontic assistant since 2008 and I love it! I enjoy the challenge of complicated cases and seeing the beautiful transformations afterwards. My co-workers and my bosses are the best and I always enjoy coming to work. There’s a never a dull moment around here!

I am originally from Guatemala but my family and I have lived in NC since 1992. I recently married my best friend Joel and we love spending time with our dog Chewie. I also volunteer with my congregation, educating people about the Bible. By the way, I feel like there is never a bad time for a good cup of coffee. My name is Olivia and I am a coffee addict.

I began with the practice in 1978 - my Senior year at Cary High School.  In the following years I went to night classes to earn my certification. I primarily work in the lab now, where I make the retainers and appliances that our patients wear. I love it! It allows me to use my mechanical and creative abilities. I enjoy assisting as well, and getting to put faces with the retainers and appliances is a fun part of my job.  Some of the patients I began with many years ago are now bringing in their children!

I am originally from New York, but my family moved to Cary when I was four. Maybe New York is where I got my love for cool weather.  My husband and I enjoy sports and play co-ed softball. We have two beautiful daughters, an awesome son-in-law, a gorgeous grandson, and 5 dogs - all rescued mutts.

Our Front Office Teams

Chas & Denise

Denise - I have had the pleasure of working in the orthodontic field for years, first as a chairside assistant, then as new patient treatment coordinator and currently, as front desk support. It’s rewarding to spend my days in a positive, fun environment, where we’re committed to providing a great orthodontic experience for each patient and their family.

I have been married to my husband Ron for 36 full-of-laughter years, and we are enjoying our grown son, and daughter and son-in-law, who are all now thriving in their respective careers. We are very excited about the pending birth of our first grandchild. We also have Addie, a little Morkie that keeps our home lively and is a big part of our family.

Chas - I have worked in the Cary area for over 14 years. Many of our patients know me from my previous role as a branch manager at local banks. I had the pleasure of joining this great team a little over a year ago. I am blessed to have found such an amazing place to call home and continue helping people as front desk support.

I have been married to my best friend for seven years and we have one human son. We also have a four legged son, Onyx. In my free time you can usually find me at a concert, sporting event, gardening, or working with my boys on some sort of home improvement project. I also enjoy hosting dinner parties for family and friends so I can do what I love most: cook!

Karen & Vicki

Karen - I have been with the practice since 1989. I started when I was 15 years old! For the first 23 years I worked in the back as an orthodontic assistant and for the past four years I have been at the front desk. I’ve really enjoyed working both sides of the office, with the kids in the back and helping their parents at the front desk. Both are fun, interesting, and challenging!

I am a people person and enjoy interacting with all types of personalities. I love dancing: line dancing, shagging, and two-stepping. I’m an animal lover, too. I have four dogs and a cat. They keep me entertained and very busy!

Vicki - I’ve had the pleasure of working in the orthodontic field for over 20 years and have been with this practice for most of that time. I truly love my job and those I work with each day! It’s so rewarding to see our patients smiles change throughout treatment and get to know the families we treat.

I’m a NC native who has lived all over our beautiful state. After graduating from UNCW, I settled in Cary with my wonderful husband. We’ve been blessed with two amazing children and spend our time enjoying the outdoors and watching our kids grow.

I chose to join the dental field because I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. The transformation of a case from start to finish is truly incredible! I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of a smile transformation and witness the impact orthodontic treatment has on a person's life.

I graduated in 2017 from East Carolina University with a B.S. in Human Behavior and Wellness. As an ECU alum, I love all things pirates, purple, and gold! After graduating, I attended the Triangle School of Dental Assisting to pursue my career in the dental field. I fell in love with orthodontics and started as an Orthodontic Clinician before taking on my new role as a Treatment Coordinator.

I enjoy spending my free time with my friends and family. I take any chance I get to go to the lake or the beach! I also work on the side and just for fun at Pure Barre and you can often find me “barre-tending” or taking a Pure Barre class after work and on the weekends.

I joined this wonderful practice 13 years ago as business manager. You might not see me when you come in but I’m here, snug in my little cozy nook of an office. I help “out front” when needed, giving me the opportunity of seeing all the beautiful faces of patients and parents, which I truly enjoy. I adore my coworkers and have absolute respect and admiration for Dr. Brogden, whom I’ve come to know as one of the most ethical people I’ve ever met.

I was raised in Northern Illinois and moved to NC in 1978 so it is very much home to me. I am married and we have a beautiful married daughter, Anne. The fluff of joy in our home is our Shih Tzu, Penny. For fun I hula-hoop, do Tai Chi, walk with friends, and hang out with my hubby. Life is good.
